Don't Stop The Music
A poem about music, played through everything God made. The wind, the storm, the stars, even the rain keep rhythm. No instrument is left silent, and no one is left out. The Lord's music never stops, and it calls for you to join in.

Music is powerful. It is a language with no barrier, one that speaks to every nation, tribe, and tongue. Such is the love of God, His creation, and His desire for mankind. No one is left out. The Lord's music crosses every barrier. I wrote this poem for that reason.
Don't Stop The Music
Your love for me is like a chord,
rich and full, no note ignored.
You pluck the strings, hold my heart,
my Lord, don't stop the music.
Your whole creation is a song,
the ocean sounds its rolling horns.
Not one small corner stays silent,
my Lord, don't stop the music.
The wind blows soft, a flute unseen,
it breathes soft across the green.
Then trumpets join the waking birds,
my Lord, don't stop the music.
Even when the thunder drums,
and lightning flashes, cymbals crash,
Your rhythm holds in wind and rain,
my Lord, don't stop the music.
The stars come out, a billion keys,
each pressed by hands too vast to see.
The raindrops fall in gentle time,
my Lord, don't stop the music.
So let me dance before Your throne,
where trumpets sound, bells are blown.
My hands stay lifted, free at last,
my Lord, don't stop the music.
Friend, can you not hear this choir?
Creation sings; it never tires.
Let every voice pick up the song,
my Lord, don't stop the music.
So play, my Lord, and never cease,
let every sound bring me to peace.
Let every instrument arise,
my Lord, don't stop the music.
