About Us
“Be diligent to present yourself approved to God, a worker who does not need to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth.”
—2 Timothy 2:15, NKJV
Our mission
No worker calls their work approved the moment they pick up their tools. The work must be carried out, tested, and proven before it is truly approved. We believe faith works the same way. There is a gap between who we believe we are meant to be and who we are on an ordinary day. This site was built for that gap.
The gap does not close all at once, and it is not only about how we relate to God directly. It shows up in how we handle money, how we love people, how we work, how we treat our bodies, how we use our screens, and how we feel. So we write towards seven areas of life: spiritual, financial, emotional, vocational, relational, physical, and technological. In each one, we return to one question. What does it look like to walk with Christ here?
At ApprovedtoGod, we are not writing to people who have it all figured out. We are writing for people who may be wrestling with doubt late at night, people who may be chasing a consistency that keeps slipping through their hands, people who are hungry for something true. If you are not sure what you believe yet, or you walked away from faith and are quietly finding your way back, you are welcome here too. Through articles, Bible studies, poems, and a newsletter, we want to walk with you, not ahead of you.
Our resources
Everything here is meant to help you take one honest step closer to Jesus Christ, wherever you are starting from.
Articles
The Bible was written long ago. Your life is happening now. How does it still apply? Our articles answer that question directly. First, we name the situation plainly. Then we show what the Bible actually says about it. Then we walk through what to do about it this week, not someday. You will not just read something true. You will leave knowing your next step. Expect honest words, not polished ones. And truth, without a hard edge.
Bible Study
For anyone who wants more than a quick read. We look at what a passage meant to the people who first read it, before we ask what it means for us now. Then we close with steps you can actually take, not just facts to remember. Whether we work through a whole book of the Bible, line by line, or follow one thread across many books, the goal stays the same: to help you read the Word well, and let it carry real weight in your life.
Poems
Some things cannot be explained. They can only be felt. The relief of a prayer answered at last. The ache of waiting on God in silence. The quiet joy of an ordinary morning spent with Him. Our poems exist for that. They are not proof of anything. They are an attempt to put words to what it feels like to reach towards God, with nothing hidden.
Newsletter
Twice a year, we send a short, honest letter. Our best recent writing, a few things worth your time, and a word to encourage you in whatever season you are in. No noise, no sales pitch. Just something worth opening.
